Reminder: Mums the Word Event for Vets and Families, 11/11

Re-blooming Pink Azalea
Re-blooming Pink Azalea
Today we are hosting veterans and military families from 10am – 2pm. Also welcome are people who are in recovery from difficult and/or complicated experiences (i.e. mine was dementia-caregiving for mom, Marg). We will host the event at the Caretaker’s Cottage. The wheelchair-accessible MargFMac Front Garden Loop is available for those undaunted by the chilly weather. Our wheelchair-accessible port-a-potty is still available, generously donated by Davis Septic of Manchester, NH for this event.
At the Caretaker’s Cottage: Enjoy fellowship with others in a long-term recovery process from life traumas. Find a facilitated support circle to speak and write what you need to express now to become a more healed and whole version of yourself.
Voluntarily: Contribute to a Gratitude//War Story Snippet “Quilt” (will display at the Caretaker’s Cottage through November) and/or Write a Peace Prayer (prayers and intentions will be hung on the Roses & Kitchen Garden trellis fence throughout the holiday season).
Voluntarily, confidentially and safely: Express your burdens, loves, hopes, and promises on paper for therapeutic effect. Write to “Purge and Merge” (papers will be burned during the ritual) or write a love, hope, or promise letter to your self or someone special (take home, or sign, seal and deliver).
All are Welcome, Free-of-Charge. Walk-ins, Wheel-ins welcome. RSVP appreciated as we have limited parking. Contact me, at 978-887-4202. A flyer is attached below. Please share.
Moving forward with a listening heart,
vision, inquiry, and action,
~ Mary
