Morning Report: Planting Ground-Covers

Creeping Phlox Perennial
Creeping Phlox Perennial
One of the benefits of planting ground-cover plants, like this bright pink creeping phlox, in your garden, is to help control the growth of weeds. The ground-cover takes up residence in the space where weed seeds might be tempted to land and grow. We are using this technique widely throughout our gardens to help control the weeds. Another benefit of creeping phlox is that it offers a nice evergreen cover throughout the year. The nicest benefit of all is that this plant produces beautiful vibrant blooms in mid-spring and may attract fairies…
Today is May Day! Look for fairies in your wanderings outdoors, explore dancing like a fairy, celebrate your fertility and creativity unabashed!
Moving forward with a listening heart,
vision, inquiry, and action,
~ Mary
