Sunshine Art Pop“I think the new normal is going to be good… it’s just hard getting there,” I said this weekend after breaking down in tears, while sitting with my husband and life-partner of ten years, Karl, and dog, Miss Honey, in our kitchen. The loss of my family-of-origin feels greater with no siblings to share it. Knowing this experience is common among only children doesn’t lessen the painful transition from old to new – holy family.
