We have $22,900. left to raise, before year-end. Please Donate Today with MightyCause
Many 2025 Guests are thrilled to now be able to bring their wheels (wheelchairs, walkers, strollers) onto the Lily Pond Overlook Patio (Thanks again to Reeves Foundation for their $5K support!). Guests look forward to making it down the hill to observe the pond environment more closely. We will continue work on this project, 2026 Spring. Materials will include lumber and pavers. A series of three flat patios/decks along the switchback will not only allow wheelchairs to turn a corner, but also enable small groups to gather, or offer performances (music, dance, theatre, etc.).
Accessible Forest Hardscape Switchback Trail Estimate is $15,000.
This is our final push to raise the funds needed to support:
- Growing the Accessible Gardens (2026 Forest Floor Hardscape Switchback)
- User-Friendly Labeling the Arboretum Trees, Shrubs, and Woody Vines
- Creating an Artist-in-Residence Program, starting with Light Artist, Matt Belge
- Offering Individual and Group Support, and Memory Cafe for Dementia Caregivers
