3 Lanterns at the Intersection: Cut Flowers, Kitchen & Ornamental GardensWhat a day Monday was – it reached 62 at our home. This past Saturday morning, 9am – 12pm, John and Audra, our winter crew volunteers in the garden, helped begin winter clean-up in some of our flower beds. It was really exciting to see so many crocus and daffodil tips emerging as we lightly raked away a top layer of dead leaves and fallen branches. Two Witch Hazel shrubs are in bloom now, along with several Snowdrops (the earliest blooming bulbs).
