Hi All! We are still early in our process of interviewing for this open position. We thought it would be helpful to offer a few more thoughts about the best candidates for this job… We need to hire “the right” team member. We’ve created a flyer we hope you will please share on all social media platforms!
Here’s the text from the flyer:
Volunteer Coordinator
You are a friendly people-magnet. You have no problem recruiting folks to help with the bake sale, the 5K run, or the spring garden clean-up. You are plugged into community and you know where to find the right folks for opportunities that could benefit them as well as a great local cause. We need and desire the right person for this critical role on our team. Prior nonprofit experience is helpful but not required. Interested candidates can find the job description and team application on our website.

- Join a Supportive, Professional Team
Interviews: Zoom & Onsite meetings
Ongoing Training & Support
Job hours are flexible, and will balance outreach hours, onsite hours, and program administration hours.
We expect the right candidate is semi-retired or retired, with life experience, availability during the week as well as one weekend per month, and a desire for healing, meaning & purpose that resonates with our mission, vision, and values. Ideally we are able to hire an individual who can see themselves in this role for 3-5 years, helping our emerging nonprofit build a “best practices” sustainable volunteer program, with replicable recruiting, administrative, and reward/retain methods we follow and “quality improve” year over year.
Rest-Stop-Ranch is an equal-opportunity employer prioritizing diversity.
Thanks for your help!
