Linda and Ty, from Andover, MAWe finished our 5-month Indoor Memory Cafe winter season at the Town Hall Saturday, 10am – 12pm, 3/16/19. Everyone was invited to make a sun hat for Spring garden enjoyment. We were delighted to meet Ty and Linda from Andover. Joyce from Topsfield also stopped by – she loved the “Memory Cafe” hand lettered street signs and was hoping to grab a muffin on her way home… where the coffee was waiting!
Karen Moniz and Paula Burke, COA Director, from Topsfield volunteered, and Edith Heyck from Newbury assisted with hat creations. Karl Ackerman also helped by hanging out on the Town Hall ground floor, directing all guests to the second floor. Thanks again to our sponsors: Topsfield COA, Friends of the COA, Trinity Church Topsfield, Topsfield Cultural Council, MA DDS, and all the volunteers and guests who helped make our 2018-2019 Indoor Memory Cafe season successful.
Paula and I are now in conversation with the Topsfield Library as a potential place for next year’s Indoor Memory Cafe, which will run November 2019 – March 2020. Our Topsfield Memory Cafe continues in the Garden at our home in Topsfield: 202 Haverhill Road (route 97). Saturday, April 20, 10am – 12pm, join us for the Bulb Parade!
