This was our seventh week offering our presence and practical help at the Good Day Cafe at 19 High Street, N. Andover, MA. We are listening to people affected by long-term illness in their lives and the lives of family members. I’m facilitating 10-minute guided relaxation breaks that benefit body, mind and spirit in the moment with lasting effects for the day and potentially days. We are referring people to local support resources.
Next Thursday, 2-3:30pm, we will wrap-up this eight-week series of Cafe Care Consults in North Andover. Also, this Saturday, 12-1:30pm, I will be offering Cafe Care Consults at The Common Cafe in Norwood Center. If you’d like to reserve time, call me at 978-887-4202 at least 24 hours in advance; Alternatively, feel free to simply stop by as your schedule allows.
This program could be called Spiritual Care at Street Level. The 15-minute Cafe Care Consults are free, offered at local cafes with street-level access, and offer a listening ear, practical practice with stress-management, and help with long-term care questions.
