Rest.Stop.Ranch Morning Report: Forsythia

Yellow Birdhouse and Forsythia
Forsythia for our Feathered Friends
The birds and bunnies appreciate this patch of yellow forsythia near the grape vines. Just yesterday I saw a cottontail rush for cover as Miss Honey and I approached while walking.
Karl and I continued spring garden clean-up and planted wildflower seeds in the Street Garden, along the rock wall. This garden is really shaping up to be welcome sight. We also planted the tea roses from our Valentine’s Day wedding in the Ornamental Tree and Shrub Garden.
This week I will again meet with the “Ashes to Easter” resurrection book group on Tuesday and will sit in the Meditation Garden for a mid-week, mid-day respite on Wednesday. If you’d like to join us for the free mid-week meditation class (beginner’s welcome), please call (978-887-4202) or email a day in advance to reserve a seat: programs@rest-stop-ranch.com.
Moving forward with a listening heart,
vision, inquiry, and action,
~ Mary
