Bleeding HeartsCultivating Compassion – the Spiritual Directors International Conference begins tomorrow. I will attend the full-day “Spirituality & Health Care Institute.” These bleeding hearts represent the paradox of life and suffering we who work in the health-care field experience ongoing. I look forward to connecting with the other workshop participants and deepening my understanding.
I will be hosting my Benedictine sister-friends from Kansas for the next few days who have come for the conference. I expect to write the Morning Report again on Monday next week.
