Rest-Stop-Ranch Display Build-Out at Flower Barn, Topsfield Fair 2024
Rest-Stop-Ranch Display Build-Out at Flower Barn, Topsfield Fair 2024
Happy Autumn in New England! The Topsfield Fair happens Oct 4 – 14. If attending it, please visit the Rest-Stop-Ranch “Accessible Garden” display at the Flower Building. Karl has spent the past 3-4 weeks planning, designing, and building out the display evenings and weekends. Tons of heavy materials have been transported from our Topsfield home to the Fairgrounds for this display (pavers, lumber, bricks, and plants). Mary created the plant ID tags for the trees and shrubs, which will become part of our newest project: creating an Accessible Arboretum at Rest-Stop-Ranch! Baby Koi fish will arrive soon and be installed prior to the fair opening. The display will be open for the public to walk the trail and sit on the bench or chairs (2). Thanks to the Slow River Studio (Topsfield) for $735. donated to assist with the cost of the build!

Here’s our October schedule (see below). Hope to see you in our garden this season!
