National Hort Therapy Week a Success Here!

Thanks to John Coulon of Lynn and Collette Hanlon of Rowley for braving the elements on Thursday, 3/19, and again on Saturday, 3/21, to participate in our first week of horticulture volunteers in the garden. It was also National Horticultural Therapy Week. Together, always 6-feet apart, we accomplished many goals in the early garden here at Rest.Stop.Ranch:

• Cleaned Flower Beds at the Caretaker’s Cottage
• Moved Outdoor Furniture from the Garage to the MargFMac Front Garden Loop (0.1 mi)
• Composted Roses, Tulips, and 5 Ornamental Tree and Shrub Beds
• Blew Clean the Wheelchair-Access Trails with a Leaf-Blower

To help keep everyone healthy and free of Corona Virus,
With the MA State Stay-in-Place Order, until 4/7/20,
We ask all volunteers to stay home for two weeks.
We will hope to resume this therapeutic program on 4/9/20.
