Morning Report: Seed Lays Dormant

Seed Lays Dormant
Seed Lays Dormant
The prayer space I’ve created at the cottage changes with the seasons. Right now, I’m praying with the blue water of renewal and ashes from the mid-winter burn we had a couple of weeks ago as a symbol of quiet inaction. As I picked up the charcoal from the silent fire site, I noticed this little seed lightly sticking. Pausing in the moment, the seed spoke to me its significance. The seed requires this dormancy now and finds a resting place with the ashes.
Moving forward with a listening heart,
Mary
P.S. When not resting, I’m engaged in 43 days of Transforming Trauma, Becoming Whole.
