Rock Wall Garden BedsThis past weekend Karl spread compost along the north side of the Orchard Avenue, creating the new Rock Wall Garden. The westernmost end of the garden features a succulent section with yucca and sea holly already planted. The easternmost end will feature ferns, as the earth there tends more shade and water. The two middle beds are still in consideration for plantings. This new garden area highlights three bench seats along the Orchard Avenue. The seats under the fruit trees will offer great perspective in all seasons, but I imagine will be really special in the spring, when in bloom. This spring we will plant Steeds japanese holly shrubs along the rock wall, which will provide a screen and sound barrier for the MargFMac Front Garden Loop.
