Morning Report: First Yellow Daff, Grape Hyacinth

This photo was taken in the Rainbow Garden, where Karl and I planted crocus bulbs one-by-one last fall on our hands and knees. You can imagine how upsetting is was to find two sections of these bulbs decimated – tops eaten and bulbs ripped from their underground homes… We expect the scoundrel was a red squirrel. We’re doubling-down our defenses.
