Morning Report: Early Amethyst

We chose emerald and amethyst as the colors for our wedding because they are our birth stones. While at the nursery last weekend, we saw this deciduous shrub with bright green leaves and purple berries for the first time and it easily earned entry to our wedding gift plant purchases. We’ve planted it near the Koi Pond, along the access trail to our home. One more plant the birds will enjoy!
