Morning Report: Blue Heron Decoys Delight

Blue Heron Decoys Installed at Koi Pond
Blue Heron Decoys Installed at Koi Pond
Karl’s mom gifted us with these beautiful blue heron decoys at Christmastime – Thanks again Jan! I pulled them out of dry storage over the weekend and set them up overlooking our koi and goldfish. The fish will come to know that these birds, made of a thin metal, will not be able to move quickly to capture anyone, and hopefully, may keep the real threat away (we fondly remember Mr. Diversity who was taken last year). The new art looks good from many perspectives in the garden.
Some folks may be curious to watch the Local Massachusetts Lifespan Respite Coalition/Belmont Media TV taping in which I was one of four panelists speaking recently. Each of us explained our innovative programs developed for caregivers and people living with long-term illnesses such as Alz/Dementia, Autism, Mental Illness, and Developmental Disability. I loved meeting these other panelists/founders who are moving and shaking up the status-quo!
