Karl loves working with rocks. On Sunday, he trimmed roses, wisteria, and rose of sharon plants. He then harvested rocks from a cottage garden area, brought them over to the Circle Garden in the MargFMac Front Garden Loop, and built a rock retaining wall along the left side of the garden. I helped him measure the width of the garden paths using a walker. We expect the Circle Garden to be accessible to people using walkers (like Karl’s mom, who now uses a spiffy walker she inherited from my dad who passed away almost one year ago). Karl expects to finish the right side retaining wall in the future with rocks harvested from other rock wall projects on the property.
