Position: Part-Time Programs Coordinator
Reports to: Programs Director

Rest-Stop-Ranch Support Programs and Wheelchair-Accessible Gardens are unique and special resources developed for people impacted by long-term-care. The Programs Coordinator has the opportunity to learn more about the lives of individuals, couples, and families we serve, and get involved building systems for our little respite within the bigger long-term-care systems North of Boston. Position Description
Our ideal candidate is a positive, polite and professional multi-tasker, able to handle office tasks including filing, e-mail, mail, phone communications, with ability to track details accurately on paper, computer and/or database. Supporting our programs, you are comfortable interacting with and assisting guests of all abilities, honor confidentiality, keep records, and help with set-up/clean-up. You are open to learning new skills, have patience with problem-solving, and a sense of humor!
Responsibilities
Assist with the administration and delivery of social service programs
Manage the exciting and dynamic emerging nonprofit office
Help create systems to manage the growing outreach efforts
Help to manage the growing volunteer groups
Respect all members of the Rest-Stop-Ranch me-we-communitee
Be willing to learn and champion inclusive ways
Follow Rest-Stop-Ranch best practices, policies and guidelines
Dress and act in a professional manner while representing Rest-Stop-Ranch
Sign an employment agreement

Time Commitment
A weekly average of 8 hours is expected. Tues. (4 hrs.)/Thurs. (4 hrs.)
+ 1 Sat. morning per month, 9:30am – 12:30pm (Memory Cafe Program Support)
Supervision
Weekly supervision and mentoring is provided by management.
Compensation
We offer a competitive hourly rate, based on experience.

Requirements
Must have (minimum):
– High School Graduate with volunteer or work experience.

Nice to have:
– B.A./B.S. or Equivalent (Minimum 4 years Life Experience post High School)
Life Experience with Caregiving or Long-Term-Care Systems
Languages: Spanish, Portuguese; Other Languages
