Accessible & Fragrant Climbing RoseWe are grateful for the many people who twenty-five years ago brought accessibility to the legal and national forefront, who collaborated and cooperated to pass the Americans with Disabilities Act. Karl and I, and our project to build wheelchair-accessible gardens every day for as long as we are blessed to live here, wouldn’t be where it is without this groundwork… now, every nose may smell a rose!
Edith and I will be at the ADA25Boston Celebration today at the Boston Common, joining the march, listening to the speakers, and enjoying meeting everyone. Look for us in our Rest.Stop.Ranch outfits, and rest-stopping between events on a park bench, under the shade.
Moving forward with a listening heart,
vision, inquiry, and action,
~ Mary
