Seed Lays DormantThe prayer space I’ve created at the cottage changes with the seasons. Right now, I’m praying with the blue water of renewal and ashes from the mid-winter burn we had a couple of weeks ago as a symbol of quiet inaction. As I picked up the charcoal from the silent fire site, I noticed this little seed lightly sticking. Pausing in the moment, the seed spoke to me its significance. The seed requires this dormancy now and finds a resting place with the ashes.
Moving forward with a listening heart,
Mary
P.S. When not resting, I’m engaged in 43 days of Transforming Trauma, Becoming Whole.
