We are excited to begin our Spring Season (11 weeks) program next Thursday, the First Day of Spring, March 19, 9am. The Spring Season Volunteers List is now Full and includes senior garden adventurers, a Day Program serving young adults living with Autism, and 2 Master Gardeners, including 1 Hort Therapist who can help lead us with best practices. Next registration opportunity will be for the Summer Season, please see flyer: Get Dirty in the Garden 2020 All abilities, all ages welcome, free of charge.

Considering the current health concerns, we are asking all volunteers to please bring and use their own garden gloves. Please do not come to the program if you feel sick.

Other required bring/wear-your-own items: Water Bottle & Garden Shoes. Highly suggested: Garden Hat with Wide Brim. A new opportunity this season is to arrive early – at 8am – and learn to stretch to prepare the body for gardening actions. These stretches also teach us to “Live Pain Free,” please see flyer: Stretch to Live Pain Free All are welcome free-of-charge (i.e. you don’t have to plan to stay for the 9am garden program).

Thanks to all the garden volunteers, past and present, for your interest in and helping us build and maintain our Wheelchair-Accessible Gardens for community enjoyment!
