Fragrant climbing roses are now in bloom along the Roses and Kitchen Garden trellis, accessible to wheelchair-users. If you or your loved one living with disability or degenerative illness, would like to smell the roses this Sunday, 11am – 2pm, please register with me by calling 978-887-4202. If you are not able to register prior to Father’s Day, you may still visit our garden if you call me ahead to ensure there is a parking space for you.

Also, happening today, 6pm – 7pm, I’m speaking at Seasons of Danvers, 44 Summer Street, Danvers, MA, to family caregivers about my dementia-care journey and self-care. Just yesterday I toured the new facility for the first time and I’m very impressed with the beauty of the place – inside and outside. The accessible outdoor space they offer memory-care residents is one of the best I’ve seen in the Greater Boston region. There’s still time to register with Connie Boris (978.777.0230 or Connie@seasonsofdanvers.com) for this free program, open to the public (on-site respite care is available free-of-charge!!).
