Thanks again to Memory Café seed-funding received from Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services this spring, we were able to upgrade our signage for our seven wheelchair-accessible gardens along the MargFMac Front Garden Loop (0.1 mile). Each of these seven chakra-colored garden flags feature a drawing of what to expect in each garden area. The illustration along with the words promotes greater accessibility for more visitors who may, for different reasons, struggle to cognitively process words.
Our next Sunday Stroll and Memory Café is this coming Sunday, Father’s Day, 11am – 2pm. Please call or e-mail me this week to register for this program. Learn more about our Sunday Stroll and Memory Café program here >
Moving forward with a listening heart,
vision, inquiry, and action,
~ Mary
