Morning Report: Holly Tree Blooms

I’m moving slowly along since my father’s death two and a half weeks ago… taking one day at a time, noticing my energy level up and down. Back in Topsfield this week we met local friends for a garden tour around the MargFMac Loop on Sunday. This Friday will be Open Garden Day in Topsfield and Boxford, and we’ll participate ~ the day runs from 10a – 4p.

I captured the blooms on the holly tree above and just wish you could scratch and smell this photo ; ) Walking under the tree is the only way to experience the sweet fragrance of these blooms, now at their peak.
