Karl Assembles 6 Benches on 5/15/16Thanks to a phone tip we received from Karl’s Dad on Saturday evening, we were able to purchase the last six teak benches on sale at a local discount store that night. We assembled them Sunday morning, and placed them in three areas: The Welcome Area, Secret Garden, and Cottage Garden. All three areas are benefitting from the new and updated seating. Our Sunday Stroll and Memory Café guests now have additional places to stop, rest, and enjoy flora and fauna. In addition to this seating, we are researching now and will invest soon in a long farm table, that will serve farm-to-table tastings, and creative projects. These outdoor furniture items are the priorities we’ve identified and have gratefully received MA DDS Memory Café funding to procure this spring.
