Morning Report: Thanksgiving 2014

This morning, Thanksgiving Day, I felt it would be such a gift to share with you the sunset Tuesday evening from our back porch.
The clarity of these photos was possible thanks to Karl’s editing of the back yard apple tree to a state “for rejuvenation,” he says. I took a total of forty photos to show the progression of light to dark (see below). Please notice that in the darkness, there is a moon that shines through the trees.
A message for Christians reading this report…
We have celebrated the last of the liturgical year. We now enter a season of advent. We wait in the dark (by the light of the moon) for a North Star to appear. The inner light of a baby teaches us to find the light in ourselves, and helps us to shine ever brighter.
May you have a joyful Thanksgiving Day and weekend.
Moving forward with a listening heart,
vision, inquiry, and action,
~ Mary
