Morning Report: Apples Harvested

Joe Mac MacIntosh Apples
Joe Mac MacIntosh Apples
This morning I sliced one of these sweet and crisp MacIntosh apples for breakfast and enjoyed it with a handful of pecans and coffee. It is such a joy to enjoy these apples from trees donated by my father, Joe, just three years ago. The MacIntosh was his favorite, and I now understand why.
Today I will plant some perennials at my aunt Kay’s home, as a memorial garden for her husband, Frank, who we honored yesterday at Christ the King church in Liverpool, NY. I love the gifts that perennials offer years after our loved ones have passed. Their spirits live on in our happy hearts.
Moving forward with a listening heart,
vision, inquiry, and action,
~ Mary
