We Need Your Help — Join the RSR Board of Directors

The daffodils are up along Orchard Ave, the swallows are back, and the garden is waking up. It is the time of year that reminds us why we built this place — and this spring, we are asking for your help to grow it.

Rest-Stop-Ranch is expanding its Board of Directors from four members to seven. We are looking for three people willing to help us lead this work directly — not from a distance, but in it. At the Memory Cafe on second Saturdays. At the Thursday Social. On the Zoom call with a caregiver who has nowhere else to turn at 6 PM on a Thursday.

We do not ask board members for money. Every program here is free of charge, and that principle extends to how we build our own team. What we ask for is time, presence, and a willingness to be accountable to the families we serve.

We are especially hoping to hear from people with lived experience as a caregiver or someone navigating long-term disability, or a background in nonprofit finance or CPA work, or real estate or environmental law. No prior board experience required.
