Sunday Stroll at Rest-Stop-Ranch

Once a month on a Sunday, we open the gardens by appointment, a few guests each hour, so the paths stay quiet.

What is the Sunday Stroll?

Weekends can be long when you are caring for someone or living with memory changes. The Sunday Stroll is a weekend outing you can count on each month.

It is held on the second Sunday of the month, April through November. Walk or roll the trails with the person you care for, at whatever pace suits you both.

What to Expect During Your Visit

Unlike our drop-in programs, the Sunday Stroll is booked in hourly appointments, so only a few people are on the trails at once.

  • Quiet paths: Arrivals are spread across the four hours.
  • Accessible trails: The paths are smooth enough for wheelchairs and walkers.
  • Take your time: See what is in bloom, rest on a shaded bench, or watch the fish in the koi pond.
