Margaret didn’t suffer Alzheimer’s-type degeneration. The type she suffered is called FTD, or Frontotemporal Degeneration. It’s considered by experts to be the most difficult type of dementia in terms of the effects on family members, because it emerges between the ages of 45 and 65, is fast-moving, and very unpredictable. I’m grateful to the Alzheimer’s Association for their free-of-charge services including the 24/7 Helpline and the Care Consultations, which really helped us during this most difficult time.

Free-will donations will benefit Alzheimer’s Association. We’ll collect all the donations and mail them in as part of the team “Rest.Stop.Ranch Accessible Gardens.” Make your check payable to “Alzheimer’s Association” and you will receive a receipt after processing, for your tax information. Let’s #ENDALZ together.
