December Memory Cafe, 12/10/22
Great conversations happened this month around the coffee table. Most all guests made a pine-cone bird feeder for the birds near their home. We discussed art, print design, sculpture, Italian and Portuguese cultures, downhill and cross-country skiing. Roger instructed us as he modeled skiing downhill, “It’s all in the knees. You drive with your knees.” Next month (Jan) we’ll hear a comedy routine from Scott and Edith.

AMC Walk & Wheel: Holiday at Rest-Stop-Ranch Accessible Gardens, 12/10/22
Participants attended from Methuen, Quincy, Stoneham, and Plainfield, NH. We started with a meet & greet, and a discussion around abilities and the outdoors. We toured the holiday lights in the garden, and the group helped to turn on a few of the show lights. The participants enjoyed learning about accessible trails around our region, and look forward to spreading the word about our accessible trails.
Holiday Stroll & Open House, 12/3/22 and 12/10/22
Guests came from Topsfield, Georgetown, Beverly, Danvers, Methuen, Quincy, Stoneham, and Plainfield, NH. Many returning guests are impressed with the amount of work finished on the trail system since they last visited. It’s been wonderful to tour ALL people successfully on the paved Secret Garden and Cottage trails – these are trails completed this year with the financial help of the community – 2022! Thank you!
