Lily Pond Overlook ADA Compliance Project: Progress Update
This week, we made a big step forward in our Lily Pond Overlook accessibility project! We received 10 tons of stone dust and have three pallets of pavers on hand, materials we initially acquired for the garden display at the Topsfield Fair. With everything we need now on-site, it’s time to get to work making the overlook ADA-compliant.
The goal of this project is to create a smooth, stable surface for easy access by wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility aids. The pathway from the driveway to the overlook will soon be finished, and we’re excited to see it come together! Our hope is that visitors using mobility aids will soon be able to enjoy the overlook without worrying about navigating uneven ground.
