Lily Pond “Mama” Ice RinkKarl and I created a backyard ice rink on our small lily pond yesterday. Our rink design includes a mama rink, baby rink, and loop inclusive of both rinks. We enjoyed the ice with friends last night; thanks to Margie and Rick for the light! This natural New England play land is possible thanks to the cold weather we’ve experienced steadily the last few weeks. In recent past years, we weren’t able to create this experience safely because of inconsistent winter weather. We love and celebrate the seasons.
