Winter Bonfires at

Rest-Stop-Ranch

“Warmth, Community, and Comfort. A cozy seasonal gathering designed to bring light and fellowship to the cold winter months.”

What are Winter Bonfires?

The winter months in New England can often feel isolating, especially for care partners and individuals navigating mobility or memory changes. Our Winter Bonfire events (also known as Winterfest) are designed to combat that isolation by offering a warm, inviting, and highly accessible space to gather.

Whether you prefer the crisp winter air by an open fire or the cozy comfort of being indoors, this event provides a relaxed environment to connect with neighbors, share stories, and simply enjoy a change of scenery during the colder season.

What to Expect During Your Visit

We have designed this event to ensure everyone is comfortable, regardless of their tolerance for the cold:

  • The Outdoor Fire: Gather around our crackling outdoor fire pit. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy the fresh winter air and the soothing sight of the flames.
  • The Indoor Sanctuary: If you prefer to stay warm, the Caretaker’s Cottage is fully heated, wheelchair-accessible, and open for relaxation and conversation.
  • Seasonal Refreshments: We provide complimentary hot coffee, rich hot cocoa, and delicious snacks to keep your spirits high and your hands warm.
