Thursday Social at
Rest-Stop-Ranch

What is the Thursday Social?
The Thursday Social is a welcoming, informal weekly gathering held year-round at Rest-Stop-Ranch. It is an open invitation to care partners, individuals navigating memory changes, volunteers, and the broader community to come together in a safe, accessible environment.
Whether you want to sit quietly by the gardens, enjoy a cup of coffee and a snack, or engage in uplifting conversation with peers who understand the caregiving journey, the Thursday Social provides a dependable weekly rhythm of fellowship.
What to Expect During Your Visit
Because this is a year-round program, our gathering spaces adapt beautifully to the New England seasons:
- Spring, Summer & Fall: We gather outdoors to enjoy the fresh air, sunshine, and our fully wheelchair-accessible gardens. Guests are welcome to stroll the trails, interact with the koi pond, or relax in the shade.
- Winter: We move the social indoors to the cozy, accessible Caretaker’s Cottage, gathering around the warmth of community and hot beverages.
- A Casual Atmosphere: This is a drop-in event. You are welcome to arrive at any time between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM and stay for as long as you’d like. Light refreshments are provided.
