What is the Sunday Stroll?

Weekends can sometimes feel long or isolating when you are navigating memory changes or long-term caregiving. The Sunday Stroll was created to provide a dependable, uplifting weekend outing.

Taking place on the second Sunday of the month during our growing season, this event invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and enjoy a restorative walk through our sanctuary. It is a wonderful opportunity to gently exercise, connect with nature, and spend quality, stress-free time with a loved one.

What to Expect During Your Visit

Unlike our drop-in events, the Sunday Stroll is structured around hourly appointments. This ensures an intimate, uncrowded experience for everyone.

  • Intimate Pacing: By staggering arrivals, we ensure that the garden paths remain quiet and peaceful, giving you the space to truly relax.
  • Accessible Trails: Our grounds are fully wheelchair- and walker-friendly, making it easy for individuals of all mobility levels to navigate the beauty of the gardens.
  • Restorative Surroundings: Take your time exploring the seasonal blooms, resting on our shaded benches, or watching the fish in the koi pond.
