Fifty-two rose plants are accessible. Thirty plants are wheelchair-accessible along the MargFMac Front Garden Loop (0.1 mile). Eleven are accessed by walking on relatively flat grass or ground ~ in the Kitchen Garden, Ornamental Trees & Shrubs, and Cottage Garden. Eleven are accessed by walking up or down a grassy hill. We are new members of the New England Rose Society, to learn more about how to care for our rose plants.
Options for smelling the roses include the following events:
June 17, or 24: 10am – 12pm, Saturday Memory Café
June 18: 11am – 2pm, Sunday Stroll (Father’s Day)
You may also contact me to schedule a private tour.
Our Rose Rodeo is made possible by a generous individual contribution by Peggy Roy, in loving memory of my mom, Margaret Fraser MacDonald, who considered Peggy one of her best friends. Peggy is the only friend who visited Margaret in the Boston area (at the McLean Hospital in Belmont) during her final months of life. Thank you, Peggy!

ACCESS. DIGNITY. BEAUTY. RESPITE. RECREATION.
Moving forward with a listening heart,
vision, inquiry, and action,
