Morning Report: Mums Continue with Ice Cover on Pond

I noticed this morning a first ice-cover on the back pond. When Miss Honey and I walked from the back to the front gardens, I was surprised to see our mums – and snapdragons – still going strong.
Thanksgiving weekend is a good time for Karl and I to finish fall clean-up in the gardens. Weeding, mowing, transplanting, trimming, dead-heading, edging… are some of the chores we completed this weekend. We’re enjoying the late-blooming mums, and looking forward to our 2017 gardening season.
