Morning Report: Fall Transitions

Yesterday, our 10′ long, wheelchair-accessible redwood table was delivered in 8 boxes, by Greg, Amy, and Felix. The movement from delivery truck to Pear Tree Patio took less than 1-hour, but preparation and waiting for the truck to arrive consumed many more hours. Over the weekend, Karl and I will assemble all of the pieces: 1 table, 2 chairs, and 4 benches.

Also yesterday afternoon, the wheelchair-accessible port-a-potty was picked up by Dave’s Septic. This is another sign that we’re at the end of our Sunday Stroll and Memory Café season.
The Monday Day-Apart Retreat for Family Caregivers at Rolling Ridge is cancelled due to low enrollment. Sorry if anyone is disappointed. Please remember that I offer, year-round, an individual 2-hour guided respite retreat at the Caretaker’s Cottage on our property. You may contact me anytime to schedule this retreat.
