Yellow Rose with Clematis BackdropThis past Sunday, Father’s Day, it rained on the Parade of Climbing Roses now in full bloom… We moved our Memory Café hospitality event for people with memory loss and their care-partners inside the cozy cottage, and are now ready for future rainy-day Memory Café/Sunday Strolls. I’ve decided on these rainy-days I can teach an introduction to meditation to both care-givers and -receivers. The many wonderful benefits of meditation for both care-givers and people with dementia are now widely discussed and accepted in both the holistic health and dementia-care worlds. I actually look forward to the next rainy-day when I can facilitate this type of contemplative group for our Memory Café guests!
