Now, in 2024, we are participating in the Mass Cultural Council’s Card to Culture Program. This will help introduce our offering to a wider audience. We are excited to welcome more diverse guests to our programs, some of whom may become volunteers, donors, or future staff/leaders.

ABOUT OUR NEW TREE: SPRUCE NORWAY GOLD DRIFT
Our Ornamental Tree & Shrub Garden features over 30 rose shrubs, a White Wisteria Tree, a Golden Rain Tree, a Katsura Tree, and now… 6 evergreen conifer trees, including the new Norway Spruce ‘Gold Drift’. This is planted in the center of the ornamental garden. Why is it a perfect plant for the small space?
1. SIZE: It’s expected to grow 7′ tall and wide.
2. CONTRAST: This evergreen tree will offer year-round interest in a garden featuring mostly deciduous shrubs and trees.
3. COLOR: WOW! The yellow needles on this plant in spring are popping! The needles are green in winter.
4. FORM: The weeping branches are graceful and a tad sorrowful ~ matching with the theme of the “Broken Heart Patio.”
5. TEXTURE: The fine and soft texture invites guests to touch and feel.
