Thanks to all who donated to the Alzheimer’s Association on our behalf these past few weeks and on 6/20. So far, we’ve raised just over $1000. Would be great to raise $1,600… the amount Alzheimer’s Association asked us to raise.
Our online donation link is still available if you would like to donate…

WHY DONATE TO #ENDALZ?
Summer + COVID can be a Dementia-Care Disaster!
The heat, humidity, and storms… can be physically uncomfortable. New and unexpected forms of physical dis-comfort may shake up the status quo for a person living with dementia… that may lead to behavior changes… that may further stress-out a care-partner… that may lead to further care-partner negative health effects.
Social Isolation??? One dementia care-partner shared with me during this COVID time, “Now others have a sense of what we experience every day.”
Thanks to Our Event Team 6/20/20

Karen Moniz was a great team leader!
She created street decorations with bamboo sticks (supplied by us), purple paper, and purple balloons, that helped make our event more visible to rt 97 passers-by.
She provided guidance for the student interns.
She supported the hospitality effort and welcomed guests.
