Rose Care Volunteer Team Begins!

April 19, 2020 ~ 1st Rose Care Team of 2, volunteer 3 hours! From 11am – 2pm, John and I enjoyed the sunshine and rose care:

• Planted 2 donated roses!
• Dug up 4 dead roses and moved to compost.
• Toured all 160 rose plantings.
• Cleaned up and pruned roses.
• Moved rose clippings to a small burn kettle
• Reviewed and updated the Rose Spreadsheet.

The Rose Care Team will be meeting 2-3 hours per week, through the season (now through end of November). If you are interested in joining our Rose Care Team, please call me: 978-887-4202.

Thanks again to our rose mentor, David Cannistraro for the 2 new climbing roses and metal trellis! These are going to be beautiful!
