Seven unique wheelchair-accessible gardens on a 0.1-mile loop.

Accessible by Design

Our MargFMac Front Garden Loop is a compacted stone-dust trail designed specifically for wheelchairs and walkers. It connects seven distinct horticultural areas, offering a complete sensory experience in a manageable distance (0.1 mile).

Explore Our Sanctuaries

1. Cut Flower Garden

A seasonal rotation of blooms starting with Lilacs in spring, followed by Iris and Peonies, and finishing with Zinnias and Dahlias in the fall.

2. Roses & Kitchen Garden

Home to over 100 varieties of roses protected by a trellis fence, growing alongside tomatoes, kale, and herbs used in our community.

3. Koi Pond

A favorite for all ages. Watch our resident koi and goldfish swimming peacefully. Accessible viewing areas allow you to get close to the water.

4. Cedar Grove & Tunnel

Pass through the natural cedar tunnel, featuring a perennial “rainbow garden” that thrives in the dappled shade.

5. Orchard Avenue

A fruit-filled stroll featuring peach, nectarine, apple, and pear trees bordered by an evergreen hedge.

6. The Secret Garden

Our newest accessible addition (315 ft trail), featuring shade plants and dragonfly benches for a quiet retreat.

Plan Your Visit

To ensure a safe and peaceful environment for our guests with memory changes, we ask all visitors to observe the following:

  • ♿ Accessibility: All main trails are compacted stone dust, suitable for wheelchairs and walkers.
  • 🤝 Care Partners: Guests who require assistance must bring a care partner. We do not provide direct supervision.
  • 🧺 Picnics: You are welcome to use our wheelchair-accessible picnic tables. Please carry-out all trash.
  • 🌷 Garden Etiquette: Please stay on the trails and leave all flowers and plants for others to enjoy.
  • 🚽 Facilities: An accessible port-a-potty is available on-site.
